Otis

Otis Redding’s birthday was on September 9th and he would have been 70 years old this year if he had lived. I bet he would have been a greater legend than he is now. Here is my small tribute to him. First, Kanye West and Jay-z’s song “Otis.” I like the Otis Redding “Try A Little Tenderness” sample on this record. Also here is the download link for the Otis Hamilton mixtape from The Mad Bloggers, a tribute to Otis Redding and Anthony Hamilton and the information on it is below. “There are some amazing tracks from both of these guys, including some of my favorites like “(Sittin’ On The) Dock of The Bay” and “Mamma Knew Love” among others. Those tracks aren’t on this compilation. I know, crazy huh?

With this project I wanted to go a different route. A love story from the break up to finding love again. I hope you enjoy Otis Hamilton just as much as I enjoyed making it.
