*If you are on Tumblr, on Thursday September 13th, Mother Octavia tumblr will be beginning a WOC Speculative Fiction Book Club. The first book discussion will be about Octavia Butler’s vampire novel Fledgling.
*Philadelphia organization Griotworks is doing an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for Stories In Service: Day of Neighborhood Storytelling on September 22nd. The event will have storytellers traveling into several neighborhoods to share a variety of stories.
